Network Engineer
Clearance Level: TS/SCI
Location: Rockville, MD
Description:
Clearance: Active or Current TS/SCI clearance needed.
3 years of experience needed in Microsoft desktop applications. Microsoft Server Remedy experience is also required. Veritas and scripting desired.
Responsibilities include supporting the classified network operations environment leading the help desk team, generating ticket reports and statistics. Provide training for new help desk personnel. Respond to escalated user problems and management queries. Excellent communication skills required.
Specific Skills: Expert level experience with Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Server Family of Products. Experience in the use of infrastructure protocols and storage replication technologies. Experience in the use of scripting, automation, and inter-networking technologies.
Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience or a minimum of 3 years experience. IT certifications such as MCSE, MCSD, CCDA, CCNA, Network + certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
