Job Description:
Qualified candidate will be a technical leader and manager for multiple tasks in design, implementation, and integration of software or independently performs exceptionally complex software development tasks. Ensures efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes. Mitigates risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated projects.
Candidate will analyze systems requirements, design, and implement software tools and applications. Candidate will provide technical direction to developers to ensure technical objectives and deadlines are met. Candidates should have excellent communication skills for interacting with both the customer and other companies in a collaborative development environment. Candidate will provide technical expertise and leadership to facilitate the implementation of scalable enterprise applications.
Required Skills:
• Experience with designing and developing distributed and SOA applications. Focus will be on the back-end services
• Recent experience supporting Intelligence Community
• Self motivated and able to multi-task and communicate effectively with little supervision.
• Proficient in UML modeling, XML, Java, web services, J2EE, JMS, ESB, and JBOSS
• Experienced using database
• Hands on knowledge of open source products and frameworks
• 5+ years of developing enterprise application
Preferred Skills:
• An advanced degree
• Semantic Technologies (e.g. OWL, RDF, SPARQL)
• Experience with Web 2.0 technologies/methodologies such as AJAX, RSS, and wikis
• Knowledge of web development languages such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, and Python
