Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, senior level professional to join their Information Technology department. Candidate must have a proven track record in the support, and management of complex server configurations that support end-to-end application-driven solutions across multi-disciplinary platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide operations support in a 24x7x365 environment which includes, but is not limited to, server and applications setup/configuration/testing, and troubleshooting of all systems/applications in multiple area data centers.
* Provide analysis and recommendations pertaining to server optimization and enhancements to improve performance and increase efficiency.
* Participate in the maintenance of servers, documentation on maintenance, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs) that pertain to systems engineering.
* Support of server environments; risk management, security compliance, vulnerability scanning, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, measured against SLAs.
* Provide root-cause analysis, contributes to the knowledge base, and provides recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology.
* Rotational on-call duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or 15 yrs. equivalent experience.
* MCITP certification required.
* Security+ Certification required.
* DIACAP control protocols or equivalent compliance experience required.
* Information Assurance experience required.
* 15 yrs. experience in running Websites.
* 10 yrs. experience in close collaboration with a .Net based development operation.
* 10+ yrs. experience in configuration/management of MS SQL, MS Server, IIS 6/7/7.5, .Net 3.5/4/4.5
* 5+ yrs. of hands-on HP Server Environments.
* 5+ yrs. experience supporting Citrix XenServer.
* 3 yrs. experience in Cloud services management/configuration/development (AWS, Azure, IBM).
* 5+ yrs. Virtualization experience.
* 5+ yrs. experience in TFS.
* 5 yrs. Web development and .Net programming experience.
* Prefer expertise encompassing server management/support, integration services, security audit.
* Minimum 10 yrs. experience required in each of the following: CISCO, HP, EMC, NETAPP, F5, APC, IBM, and BROCADE
